Peter Baron ,born and raised in Greenwich Village,Soho,New York was most influenced by guitar-based rock bands of the 70's and 80's. Peter Baron's sound has been described as a combination of modern edgy pop rock and 70's metal.

At 17, Peter landed a spot as second guitarist with Leslie West and Corky Laing of Mountain in The Wild West Show touring the U.S./Canada. Peter has also toured with Leslie in various Leslie West bands and is currently performing in West's most recentlone uo. Performances include stadiums,coliseums and well-known clubs, playing to audiences as large as 70,000 with some of the biggest bands on the planet.

Peter also toured and recorded with rock singer Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple,Ingwie Malmsteen). Peter toured the East Coast as Joe Lynn's lead guitarist and performed on Joe's album "Undercover".

Baron has three studio albums "Love Valley" produced/engineered by Eddie Kramer (Kiss,Led Zeppelin,Hendrix) on Kivel records which features an instrumental version of the Star Spangled Banner .. " Active" Produced by Peter and co-produced by Frank D'Augusta (Frampton Comes Alive,Patty Smith Horses) and the newly released concept cd " VAMPIRE "on Tribeca Artists produced by Baron and D'augusta.. Peter rocked out a 21-city tour of Finland , performed at the Paul McCartney Breast Cancer Foundation benefit along with Simon Labon (Duran Duran),Nile Rogers and Chic and Vernon Reid of Living Color. He also played to a sold out Carnegie Hall at the Japan/USA Goodwill Concert. The youutube video "Peter Baron live at Carnegie Hall" features an excited audience on their feet singing Baron's song " Keep Up Your Head".

In Aug 2014, Peter again joined forces with Corky Laing in a band called "K2" featuring the single "Roberta" co written by Felix Pappalardi, Baron, Laing.

In spring 2015,Peter Baron was asked to join the cast of the rock opera "PLAYING GOD. Peter played the part of a genetically cloned twin"Alex". The premier sold out shows were performed in Stockholm,Sweden, Helsinki,Finland,Yale University,USA and The Danny Kaye Theater in New York City...
